1993 Honda del Sol Si review from North America
"Great first car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Roof and trunk leak badly.
Car randomly dies one day, chip had to be re soldered.
Roof is noisy.
General comments?
I've had this car for two years now, and I love it.
I've recently decided to sell it, but only becuase a two seater is just not practical for a family. Otherwise, I'd keep it until the doors fell of.
I've never had any major problems with it. I can even deal with the leaky trunk, roof and windows.
It did always bother me that the earlier models don't have a trunk release button on them. As it is kind of a pain to have to shut the car off and get out to open the trunk if say you are dropping off a friend who has luggage in the trunk.
This was the first car I ever owned. It's a great car for first timers, especially if they don't want to have to drive everyone in the free world around all the time.
