1995 Honda Integra ZX Dual Carb review from UK and Ireland
"Excellent car, pity about the performance and economy!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
3rd gear synchro was on the way out when I purchased it. Partially resolved by replacing transmission fluid with Land Rover MTF94. Didn't grind as much.
That was basically it!
General comments?
It's the 1.6 dual carb model with around 105bhp and it was, for me, just too underpowered. I would have preferred the SiR model with 180bhp.
For a 1.6, it was an absolute animal on petrol! I was getting only 27/28 mpg on average.
The actual shell of the car was made of very light metal and is prone to dents!
Other than that, the car was one of the most comfortable cars I've ever sat in, the semi bucket seats are excellent and the cabin noise was surprising quiet.
All the electrics worked perfect in it too, even though it was 13 years old.
