2005 Honda Jazz review from Indonesia
"Good car for young people"
General comments?
My Honda Jazz car is 1.5 i-dsi with automatic transmission which use CVT (continuous variable transmission and steermatic). Steermatic is a technology in which you can up shift or down shift your transmission manually by using buttons on the steering wheel.
I bought this car to substitute my Suzuki Katana. I choose this car among other competitors because it has 5 doors, hatchback model, nice transmission, and big space. The exterior and interior design of this car look nice.
Driving this car is a great experience. The steering wheel feels perfectly in your hand. The handling is good and the fuel consumption is very low (1 liter = 10 kilometers in urban area). Beside that you can enjoy kenwood double din CD player while you are driving.
On the other hand, There are some bad points. They are the tape doesn't support mp3, you should fold your outside mirrors manually, and low ground clearance. The car is about 15 cm from the floor. In Indonesia the roads are bad and there are many floods, so this car is not quite suitable. Furthermore the fuel consumption is far than I expected (I expect 1 liter for 12 kilometers in urban area).
