2000 Honda Odyssey EX review from North America
"Excellent"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The Honda Odyssey has had a few power sliding door problems. The sensitivity of the door latch had to be adjusted by the dealer once. Also, my wife had the car jump started due to leaving the lights on resulting in the power doors not working any more. She turned on an off the power door master switch on the dash above the door open/close buttons, but the door would not work. I reset the door memory by pulling fuse 13 out of the fuse box for two minutes, but the doors still would not work. It turned out that she did not turn the door master switch back on and that is why the doors would not work after the memory reset (pulling fuse 13 on the passenger fuse box). Everything is working well now and we are very happy with the vehicle. If you want more details on door problems read post #4578 titled "Update: No Power to Sliding Door."

General comments?
The Honda Odyssey has been very reliable and comfortable for traveling and carting the kids around town. The vehicle has lots of power without compromising fuel economy. The car consistently gets 26 MPG on the highway with a cruise of 70 mph and 29 MPG with a cruise speed of 55 mph. This vehicle has great handling and has very comfortable seats for long trips. We consistently make trips of 900 miles per day and do not have back pain.
