2000 Honda Odyssey review from North America
"From our experience with the Honda Odyssey, we will never buy Honda again"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Engine had to be replaced at 65,000. Although it was under warranty, the warranty would not cover the cost because we had missed one oil change, and they said this burned out the engine. It took over a month for the dealer to figure out what was wrong with the car. We contacted Honda headquarters. They refused to get involved because the car was under warranty (even though warranty refused to cover it). All we got was a run around.
Now, at about 100,000 miles our catalytic converter needs to be replaced and we are looking at another $1,000 in service and parts.
General comments?
For the price of this car, we expected flawless performance, but all we got were flaws.
