2000 Honda Odyssey EX review from North America
"Good vehicle; however costly repairs to emissions system"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Check engine light on intermittently since about 65,000 miles. Replaced catalytic converter at 91,000 miles. Check engine light came on again about three weeks later. Appears to be problem with ERG valve.
General comments?
Dealer repair costs for new catalytic were $935. Honda offered an extended warranty on the ERG valve for 8 years or 80,000 miles. However, since our Odyssey now has 91,000 miles, we may now have another $300 plus repair bill to replace the ERG valve. Are there design problems with the Honda Odyssey's emissions system?
