Automatic sliding doors are a real pain to use. Slow, loud, clunky and in the winter they freeze shut and the motors fail consistantly.
The rear tailgate rattles loudly when at any speed.
rust on the vehicle... and a lot of it on the tailgate. The welds are rusting from the inside out, meaning the metal used wasnt cleaned properly.
The transmission hasn't been replaced YET, but due to me towing trailers with the van, I expect it.
Transmission shifts erratically with shifting. Shifts too soon or too late.
When you are parked and you put the vehicle in gear, the transmission clunks loudly into gear and the whole vehicle moves because of the clunk from the transmission.
The audio system is cheap and weak for the money paid for the van.
Everything rattles, clunks.
Loud wind noise and road noise.
Good strong engine. good power.
Transmission makes me worry when doing trips.
The van has been checked by Honda for the transmission and it is SUPPOSEDLY okay...NOT!
Too much money for what I got myself into...disappointing.
I hear you, Mine is rusting from the inside out in spots, So needless to say I sold it and bought a 2002 Dodge Grand caravan ES and I love it, I have put many miles om it and Its way better, go figure!!!
To the last comment... a what?
Honda has gone way downhill in quality. My wife and I both have expensive Honda's (Odyssey and Accord) and we are both having transmission and rust problems along with the many other little things. And there is my brother with his 1996 Toyota Corolla beating us in everything for fractions of the cost. Go figure, Honda is off the list now, sorry Honda fans!
I know what you mean. My Honda Accord has 250,000 miles and runs really good. oops. You said downhill. My seems to be going uphill!!! Sorry pal!
MY 1994 Accord; 1997 Accord; and two 99 Accords are going uphill though. Thank God they have not screwed up this car yet. My aunt has the new 06 civic lx manual and has had no trouble either. She drives it far and out so it almost has 30,000 miles on it.
