2009 Honda Pilot EX-L review from North America
"Comfortable, safe and compentent"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The car is too new to have any problems.
General comments?
I like the way the Pilot looks. It drives like a car, but retains a truck look.
I got the AWD version, and so far it works great. Already drove it in the snow.
Its engine shuts down cylinders when cruising, and it will run on 3 or 4 cylinders for better economy. It's suppose to get 22 on highway; that remains to be seen; the engine is still new.
The leather seats are comfortable, the ride is smooth and quiet, and it will seat 8 people. It also has great ventilation system; all three rows have heating and cooling.
It's so much larger than the Nissan X-Terra that I had. It's also very safe with airbags all over the place.
