1986 Honda Prelude DX review from North America
"An absolutely perfect starter / commuter car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I had to replace the Master Cylinder at about 165000 miles.
I had to replace the Vacuum Advance at 180000 miles.
Brake booster blew out at around 185000 miles.
General comments?
This car is unbelievably durable.
While lacking in overall quickness, it handles very well at high speeds and is very stable while cornering at high speeds.
Gas mileage goes down like 6-7 MPG if you drive in a 70 MPH speed zone and nose-dives to around 22-23 MPG if you go any faster than that.
