I have had no problems with this car except the fact that after a new set of tires and rims and a perfect alignment, it still drags to the right very slowly when I brake.
I love this car and plan on keeping it for a while or until it breaks down which probably won't happen for another hundred thousand miles. Plus it is very fast and handles good when you're showing off how crazy a driver you are to your friends.
If you've had the tracking and suspension checked, the wheels and tyres are new and balanced, and it's still pulling to the right, get the brake calipers stripped and cleaned - it sounds at though your right hand front caliper is working a bit better than the left one.
I purchased a 92 prelude 5 days ago and it is everything you said it was and more. I love the car! Any tips on adding components to the engine?
Dan.
Start with a cold air intake... I recomend an IceMan, they are the best in my mind, then move on to the restrictive stock exhaust, if you don't care about emmisions, hollow out your catalytic convertor, or put a straight pipe on in it's place. There are also quite a few free mods you can do. The following link will provide you with all the information you need to squeeze every bit of HP out of the engine without spending more then a couple bucks on small parts. http://members.tripod.com/~Pre_ludE/pmods.html enjoy, you purchased a great car and you should get many years of fun out of it.
I have a 1997 Honda prelude 2.2 Si auto a jap import which is restricted (not for long) but I have a problem with it. The insurance company state that there were no non-vtec models available in the Si 2.2type in 1997 and so they are adding another 300 hundred on to the insurance quote. I need to get this sorted. Is there any body/website where I can get this information please. I owned a BMW and it was cheaper to insure, but not as much fun to drive.

I have just brought a 92 prelude and it is restricted how do you get rid of it.
