1988 Honda Prelude Si 4WS review from North America
"A great surprise of a car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
CV joint needed replaced. $300.
Thermometer died, car started to overheat. $165.
Timing belt broke and bent the valves. Had the engine rebuilt. $3000.
Brake caliper stuck and wore the brake and rotor down. $375.
General comments?
If I didn't love this car so much I wouldn't have put the work into it.
I can beat people off the line with little or no effort.
4WS has spoiled me for other cars. I love this feature.
If you take regular care of the car and have your timing belt replaced when they tell you, it's a great first car.
