1988 Honda Prelude Si review from North America
"GET ONE, treat her well, blow all your money on her, and she'll repay you in her own way!!! :)"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Needed all new rotors, calipers, pads and oxygen sensor within the first week of owning it.
My driver side axle snapped right in the middle at 210000 km.
The front driver side spring broke at 225000 km and needed to be replaced so I went with an all around 2.25" drop spring set.
My front lower control arm bushings wore out at 225000 km.
General comments?
My car is the best vehicle I've ever owned, despite the things that have gone wrong with it.
This car will teach you all about what loving a car means. Every cent spent on this car is worth the outcome.
My engine is at 230000 km and still purrs like a kitten. That in itself says a lot.
