1992 Honda Prelude 2.3i 4WS review from Sweden

Rear suspension knocking sound (especially bad in cold weather), fixed by adding extra washers (spacers) under retaining nut.

Leak in exhaust system, fixed at last service.

Switch for heated mirrors seems to have a loose contact.

Apart from this nothing has gone wrong and everything works perfectly, amazing for a 12 year old car!!

Absolutely fantastic car. Was lucky to find such a low mileage example, driven and maintained for 10 years by lady owner.

Metallic Pearl black with original 15inch alloys.

Superb performance. Engine sounds great above 4500rpm. Reasonably good fuel economy for such a fast car.

Active four wheel steering is superb. Good handling, extremely easy to park and great to impress friends with!!

For a performance car, its still quite

nice to drive in town.

Interior design is unique. Minimal volume dash is really nice.

Exterior styling has aged very well. When washed and waxed, many people mistake it for a new car (as this model is rather rare here in Sweden).

Road noise is very loud. At higher speeds one has to raise voice to converse with passenger.

Note that I mention "passenger". Biggest drawback of this car is the lack of space. Strictly a 2 seater. Have had two adults in the back once, but they weren't too comfortable there!

Small boot too. But ski hatch has been very useful on several occasions for long objects.
