1985 Honda Prelude S review from North America
"A very good car for the price and performance"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Drive-line CV joints cracked when hit I hit bottom.
Seats were in terrible condition.
Top end was damaged and I had to repair.
Coolant system would over-pressurize.
Car is noisy and dash rattles.
General comments?
After heavy modification to the carbuerator system and intake, the car increased in horsepower by a lot.
Adjusting the timing to heavy advance increased top end performance and redline giving it an amazing ferrari'sh sound at high rev.
4 wheel disc brakes and independant suspension with a pretty even understeer provides the car a superior handling performance.
Car will be roomy in the front seats for any driver.
