"Ziiiiipppppppppppp!"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

The clutch went out at almost as soon as I bought it, thanks to some mice.

Hoses need to be replaced, and other routine maintenance issues.

General comments?

You have no idea how much fun you can have with this car. It just sticks to the road, no matter how fast you are going. The 4-wheel steering system is amazing. I have never had a car that could corner like this car can. It's fairly kind on gas, which is very good for those of us working on a limited budget. It shows every sign of Honda's signature craftsmanship. This car will last you forever if you take care of it. It currently has 166000 miles on it and shows no sign of slowing down anytime soon. I highly recommend this car to anyone looking for a reliable car with some get-up-an-go for very little dough (I bought mine for under $2000). Awesome car, period.

Yeah I have a lude like yours, 1988 4ws si2.0, and its still working fine at 305000 km, just routine maintenance to do.. it's a really realible car, I've brought mine 450$ and I didn't pay more the 50$ on repares so far.. 4 months and I'm really impress from Honda prelude :) Prestige car I say hehehe.

I like the preludes. I own an 88 that has 300,000+ miles on it and it's still going as good as when I bought it.
