1999 Honda Prelude VTI Motegi review from UK and Ireland
"Stylish, sophisticated, cruiser that's very easy to drive fast"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Nothing, apart from an intermittent "Knock" from the front suspension.
General comments?
Handles Like a race car, with very little body roll.
Always starts on first turn of the key.
Looks stylish with its Motegi bodykit and 17" wheels.
Very smooth all the way to the 7600rpm rev limiter.
I have added Koni adjustables and Eibach pro lowering springs which improved the already good handling.
I have also fitted an Apexi VAFC2 Vtec controller which allows lowering of the Vtec engagement point and adjustments to the fuelling. Aswell as a Powerflow Stainless cat back exhaust system. (sounds the mutts on Vtec!)
