1988 Honda Prelude Si review from Australia and New Zealand
"The Prelude definitely has the WOW factor"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I bought this car from a fanatic, hence not a single problem has arised. He had owned the Prelude for 6 years and had every new part, litre of oil used and monthly litres/100km stats documented on computer print out. This vehicle is in immaculate condition.
General comments?
This vehicle is amazing. Performance, reliablility and comfort is the forte of a Prelude. Nothing is better than driving the Prelude with the sunroof open, windows down in Queensland Australia. This Prelude has had a performance ECU chip which has bought the KW from 106KW to 122KW. I bought the vehicle with the chip in it, apparently there was a notable difference in the torque distribution through the rev range. There is something about the exhaust note at 4000rpm in third gear, it is the start of the exhileration.
