1989 Honda Prelude Si review from North America
"Very sporty, looks good, it's a keeper"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I've only had the car for a week, and I noticed that the AC blows very cold, then for few minutes blows warm, then cold again. I plan to have it checked out.
Other than this, nothing else has yet to go wrong.
General comments?
I've always liked the Prelude up to model year 1991.
I was looking for a commuter car, and was eye balling this one for about two weeks.
Has high mileage 209778, but man this car still has a lot of power, and runs smooth on the open highway.
I agree with other reviewers regarding the manual transmission, once you get up to 70mph the car sounds like a blow dryer, because of the short gear ratio.
I thought the gas mileage would be better, but I've been running the AC every time I drive it, so it takes away from my good gas mileage, especially in stop n go traffic.
