2006 Hummer H3 review from North America
"It's made by GM so I can understand why it sucks!!!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The windshield leaked every time it rained, and the windshield could not be covered under warranty because it did not say made by GM on the windshield, but I bought the car new and that windshield was already on it, and I showed the dealer the paper work and just kept arguing with the service manager until he decided to cover it.
One night I drove through a snow storm and the 4wd was not working because of a faulty switch, which was covered under warranty.
I also later got a recall on the transmission, which causes the 4wd to fail. So that was no charge.
I recently had an oil leak because I needed the oil pan gasket replaced at 40,000 miles. They would not cover it under the warranty because I went over the 36,000 mile limit.
General comments?
I had this truck for 3 years and had to make 4 trips to the dealer who does not care about customers right after you buy their crappy vehicles. I hope GM is making their new vehicles much better now after all the trouble they were just in.
There are too many blind spots on the truck and it's very uncomfortable. If I drive for more than an hour, my back hurts so bad.
