2000 Hyundai Accent GSi review from North America
"Crap"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I have a 2000 Hyundai accent, and have had to replace several components on this car, none of which were covered by the warranty of course. It all started with a tune up I had two years ago. A couple of weeks later, my engine came on. Had to have the Oxygen sensor replaced. Next thing to go, was a pipe for the xhaust. No problem I'm thinking, no big deal. Well, now I just had it in for it's yearly tuneup, as my engine light has been on for a couple of months (I just ignored it) and turns out that I had to have a coil replaced. OK, so $500 later for that and the tuneup, and the dealer just called me now saying I need a VALVE JOB. What is the deal with that? Who else has had this done, any canadians at all, as I'm in Ontario. They say it's a minimum of $1000, and I'm seriously thinking of just selling this thing.
