2002 Hyundai Accent GL review from North America
"Good for money, not for driving satisfaction"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Motor of windshield brush
front suspension
exhaust pipe.
General comments?
Except those stupid problems, this is a really good car for economic usage.
Pros:
Cheap to repair
Fuel economy
maneuverability.
Cong's:
Noise from engine, especially at high RPM.
Failure of motor for the windshield brush is rather ridiculous after only 5 years.
Before 100k, front suspension on both sides have some problem, which causes replacement. They don't cost a lot of money, but considering what this car was built for--economy, I have to put a negative comment on Hyundai.
Head light is shooting too high in direction--I always feel very sorry when the driver in front of me has to put his/her hand on the mirror for my head light.
Windshield washer comes out at a bad location--too low and too narrow to reach the whole windshield.
