Slight shudder when braking. Dealer replaced both front Rotors (discs) with no questions asked under warranty. Brakes are perfect now. Mechanic said shudder was probably caused by a slight disc warp due getting disc brakes wet after a long hard usage, or incorrect factory torque setting during installation at factory.
The vehicle is an excellent daily driver with wonderful fit and finish. Quite, smooth, comfortable seats and great handling and power for a small 2.0 liter engine.
I love driving this car which surprised me after owning a BMW 3 series. American car manufacturers need to worry about another competitor on it's shores other than the Japanese which are already starting to dominate the car market in the US.
Hyundai backs its cars with a great warranty because they believe in their cars. Ask why Ford and GM don't do the same with their disposable cars.
"Hyundai backs its cars with a great warranty"
You fell on a good dealership...
Not everyone is that fortunate.
If you see this, please list your dealership...
Good hyundai dealers are rather rare...
The car may have a great warranty. but it seems that every time I try to use it, the problem is my fault and not covered, there's a charge to check it out, or there is a charge for additional work, such as charging me to flush the cooling system when a leaking water pump was repaired "free of charge" at 20 000km. It's a decent car, especially for the price, but the dealer service is ruining the experience for me.
