The car is really reliable till this time. I can't recall anything that went wrong. However, I deal with my car in great care, I think its kind of a delicate car like most Korean and Japanese recent new cars, but I think even more special being very smooth on the road.
1-Very Smooth, specially the gear box, the transmission between gears is very easily and great.
2-My engine is a 1.1 CC SOHC one, I believe its just fine. If car is loaded, you won't have very excellent acceleration. However I can easliy say these greatly depends on the fuel used (92 and over, 95 gives excellent performance) and also depends on some other factors like tire pressure and road quality.
3-Indoor Car Parts are really delicate, must deal with care to maximize life time and have a durable car.
4-Running costs are very good, however Dealer prices for regular service are really not cost efficient. You pay too much for really nothing.. But the official dealer in my country really have the ONLY genuine Hyundai spare parts.
5-I recommend this car with a slightly bigger engine, like a 1.3CC SOHC one. I tried it and it was far away better than my 1.1 CC SOHC engine. However, this car now in Egypt, is only offered with 1600 CC DOHC Engine which makes this car is SPEEDO car!
6- Excellent Fuel consumption (1.1CC Engine), I make up to 180 Kms per 10 litres in City. Again, I recommend 92 Octane and higher to get the best out of it.
7-The worst thing I can list for this car, is the braking system (none ABS or ESP models). The car spins with sudden brake and is not really reliable in this specific point.
8-A/C is just good.
9-The multipurpose setting of the rear seats is very innovative. You can fold them up and make the car a PICK UP! this is very good, no, its excellent if you want space... BUT, this will reduce extensively the front leg space, So you believe its very hard to do this setup if your over 180Cms in length! (like me)
10-Last to say, the car normally loads 5 adults with no problem.
Try to Enjoy this great European style car! but, If you want a slightly bigger one, but same ratios,, go for the Matrix 1.6 DOHC.. ITS IS AWESOME.

Oh come on, the Matrix is a much, much worse car than the Getz; in fact the Getz is the best car Hyundai sells in Egypt now.
