1987 Hyundai Pony GL1600 review from North America
"This car is going to make a good drift car!!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
My alternator went, but that's normal for a car it's age, even when the alternator stopped working a quick boost was enough battery power to keep me running for 25 minutes to get me back home. I also rebuilt the carburetor myself just because it was sitting a few year before I bought it.
General comments?
This car is great I am currently modifying the car with a custom body kit, paint scheme, roll cage, suspension, DOHC turbo engine, locking rear diff, custom interior. I love this car you don't see very many around let alone one that is good enough to be a show car. the car has only very minor surface rust on it when I purchased it. The car sat for a 9 months in storage outdoors and I went put a dribble of gas in the carb and it fired right up and ran like a top it actually ran better than when I first parked it.
