2007 Hyundai Sonata review from North America
"Piece of garbage"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Noticed large scratches on the car after picking it up at dealership.
4 burnt brake lights under 20,000 km. not covered
4 broken spray nozzles. covered
2 broken windshield wipers (8000km) not covered
1 transmission sensor (requiring a tow) (7000km) covered
1 cracks formed on the spedomiter cover. (15000km) covered
1 crack in door handle. covered.
Seized calipers on rear brakes (during a vacation) requiring new rotors and brake pads. Hyundai would not tow the vehicle 100km to home dealership and I was forced to replace brakes in Canadian Tire parking lot. (40000km) not covered.
General comments?
This car is a total disappointment and hyundai has done nothing but brush us off when it comes to fixing faulty components.
Had better reliability with my 1984 ford aerostar.
