1999 Hyundai Tiburon SE review from North America
"Super black bat-mobile"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Well, it's not really the car. I was quite happy with this car. The thing is the Hyundai dealer which I bought the car from sais that he had fixed the problem where has the manual brakes kept locking on the rear brakes. It was not repaired properly and end result rear brakers has to be changes completely. Also, front brakes seased also, where I had to replace the entire front brakes. I was going now to a total of about 1500.00 in repairs and I has the car inspected when I bought it and all was fine. After having spent about 8000.00 in repairs on my mazda mx3 which I loved, I did not want to repeat the same experience and start dishing money every month for repairs. So, I had a fit and went to Hyunday and bought a mbrand new 2008 Tiburon. Peace of mind for 5 years. I still prfer the 1999 I had but we do have to make choices in life. I am quite happy with my new one.
General comments?
Car grips to the road. Feeling of heaviness and very stable driving.
Very comfortable and as I am 6 foot 2
Paint tends to chip easliy.
Very economical
