2003 Hyundai Tiburon GT V6 review from North America
"Best car I ever owned, really!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
My first and only problem has been the clutch! I purchased a Valeo matching clutch and flywheel for around $1400.00 installed. Now my mechanic says to be safe, let's install the master clutch and new hose for approx. $150.00 (it started to slip again while in second gear and third at 3000 to 4000 RPM). I agreed after a second opinion (fluid may be gumming up in the old one).
General comments?
The Tiburon I own is a dream car for me. No major problems, good looks and great on the gas also (I use high octane).
I'm on my second set of tires.
I changed the oil at 3000 and 5000 for synthetic (I switched).
The ride is very hard, so I'm thinking about changing the shocks and struts. I'm also thinking about the air filter system (still learning about the options).
Great car, good luck to everyone who has the same!
