1997 Hyundai Tiburon FX review from North America
"Excellent handling and power for the price"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The clutch cylinder went out but my dealer covered the cost of the part which was more than the labor, it was a minor repair.
The back hatch still rattles a bit, it's the top plastic cover on the window.
The blinkers still sometimes don't go on until you press the emergency flasher button.
General comments?
I love this car. It is one of the best cars I have ever owned. Despite the small minor repairs, it has been very inexpensive to drive and reliable to a fault. It is both powerful, well mannered and remarkably nimble for its price range.
I have installed new suspension that has lowered the car 1.25" and now it handles even better.
I haven't driven the new Tiburon, but I definitely like the look of my car better. People still ask me "What kind of car is that, it's beautiful!"
I hope everyone enjoys there's as much.
