1999 Hyundai Tiburon FX review from North America
"Sexy Looks, great performance. All you can eat for one low price"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
My driver side Power window actuator had to be replaced.
General comments?
In less than 3 years, I have put close to a hellish 50,000 miles of stop and go driving.
The engine is bullet proof and the manual transmission is smooth.
A high 5th gear makes the car drive and pass effortless on the highway.
Most people complain about harsh Manual transmissions with these cars. It's because that when they get their transmission oil replaced, the mechanic would put GL-5 instead of the recommended GL-4 oil.
The stock premium Hyundai stereo system sound is high quality and reliable.
After 10 hours of driving, the seats will make your back hurt.
Rear seats are not recommended for people over 5'5''
With proper care and maintenance, this car is a winner. I would recommend a Hyundai again.
