2003 Hyundai Tiburon review from North America
"Asian Engineering at it's best!!!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Overall I find the car quite reliable. The clutch did burnt out at 97,000 kilometers. That was rectified under warranty.
General comments?
At first I was very apprehensive of purchasing a Hyundai, but after the first test drive and 2000 kilometers later I couldn't be happier.
The Tiburon is a fast, rev happy adrenaline rush, which also serves wonderfully as a daily driver. The overall exterior is beautiful, although in saying that the engineers at hyundai did try to over perfect a few things on the vehicle (ie. the gas cap cover). The interior I feel is wonderful, from the gauges to the seat, center consle, etc, etc. The performance could not be better and the mod happy engine, cranking out great performance for it's size and the exhaust note is sweet.
Overall I recommend this car for any fans of the sport compact category, or any looking for a little speed.
