"Never will I buy another Nissan/infinity car again"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

OK where can I start wow!! OK lets start with replacement with CV boots and coolant flush these problems are small maintenance problems however the exhaust needs to be replaced which is quite expensive 800 bucks, every rubber seal on the car is leaking, the transmission shifts really hard, engine mount is gone, tried repairing the a/c condenser and dryer although a/c system is still dead and much more, for 99,000 miles this car does have many problems recommend a Honda or Toyota car.

General comments?

I have read the reviews of for this car and many people tend have many problems as the car approaches 100k. to these people I would recommend driving a Honda accord or a Camry with over 100k miles on the Odo and try stacking it against the g20 no contest. It seems that Nissan/Infinity cars hold up in their initial years <8 years, but soon after starts with a whole host of problems. My boyfriend has had his Accord since 93 and now has 260k on the Odo and still drives better my g20 also I have friends with old Camry's that seem to also drive better than my g20.

You bought a 10 year old car with 80,000 miles and are surprised to see it having problems? Woohoo! Yeah, getting a different used car with 100,000 miles on it will change that...

Oh yeah, it's spelled "Infiniti"...but I guess you've removed all the badges, correct?

I have the exact same car you do and yeah it cost me 1000 dollars to fix it up, but those are maintenance costs...70 bucks for an O2 sensor, 100 bucks for 2 new tires, 7 dollars cleaning out the throttle body, 30 dollars for new air-filters, 12 dollars for a new fuel filter, 150 for a new water pump because of a leak, 200 for a new cv half-shaft due to a cracked cv boot, 200 for a new knock sensor and oil changes every 3000 miles take away a lot of money, but after I have done all of this my g20 runs better than my mom's lexus and my sister's corolla, my mom constantly asks me to drive my INFINITI g20 over her LEXUS ES300 which is a bulletproof wonder-car.

Yes, I agree, with the good comments, I am driving a 1995 G20 with an odo of 136000, and it still runs better than my friends 1998 (odo 115000 Civic). It costly to have an Infiniti, but it is totally worth it... by the way, check out the new G37 convertible... fun and sharp ride.
