1. rear window opens, but don't close
2. sunroof stopped operating
3. when I start the car in a cold engine it make a wierd noise and a lot of smoke comes out from the exhaust and transmission makes terrible noise when I try to shift them from D to P
but whenever I restart the engine couples of times it will start fine
4. gauge light sometimes goes off by it self I have to physically bang on the dash to make it come back on
5. stereo work, but without the light.
Other than these major and minor problems car runs perfect.
You have forgotten the BOSE stereo. It stops working and no one wants to work on it. You must take it out yourself and send it out to California to get it fixed.
I also encountered problems with the wireing, the gauge is too thin, and it burns out. (headlights, dashlights, horn, cruise control). But I still like my INFINITY.
I bought a 93' Infiniti j30t from a car auction in Florida (miles 113,000) Sunroof had to be replaced.. Broken plastic piece would not allow the sunroof to slide correctly (used sunroof $200)...Rear drivers side window does not roll down.. (Left the window alone)
The Bose Stereo is not working at all... I thought I would just put in a new deck... However the Stereo is proprietary and I was told a regular deck will not be able to operate with the Bose speakers... I have spoke to a audio deck specialist and they told me they can fix the original deck for $250.00...
The drivers side seatbelt is froze and will not move from the stationary position... I believe this is a recall from the factory... I am in the process of seeing what can be done to correct the issue..
I have only had this car for a little over a week... Performance is awesome.. She handles like a dream.. The ride is so smooth, At times I don't realize how fast I am going until I come to a intersection... The leather power seats are very very comfortable... Interior wood trim is very Classy... The body style has a sleek look and turns heads.. People look and ask if I bought a Jaguar... I would like to thank Infiniti for building a piece of history...
