1991 Infiniti Q45 review from North America
"A high performance, but no resale value with very costy parts!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I was driving on the road and all of a sudden I heard a loud rattling noise from engine. I took it to my local mechanic and he did an engine diagnostic and he couldn't figure out the problem, the next day I took it to INFINITI, and they charged me $600 for diagnosing the car for hours and said "We need more time to figure out, it could be possiblilty of timing chain" Cost's $2600 for timing chain!!! Ughh, plus 23 hours of labor cost at $80 per hour.
I went and donated my car to a scrap yard!!
Also to engineers of Infinti: "DID YOU FORGET THE CUP HOLDERS?"
General comments?
This car is really really fast, all my friends love it, it rides better than some Mercedes and Lexus. However I don't recommend anyone to buy a NEW Infinti cuz they doesn't hold their resale value, it's better to save couple more G's and buy a Lexus or Benz cuz they hold their value and are more reliable!
