2002 Isuzu Axiom review from North America
"Piece of dirt"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I wish I found this website before I purchased my 2002 Isuzu Axiom. I seem to be having the same problems as most Isuzu owners. I bought it from a dealer only a month ago and now I don't even want to drive it. The transmission skips very often - we got the tranny fluid changed, but that didn't help. The brakes squeak too. Our dealer hasn't been very helpful, and actually were rude.
After the first few days of purchase, there were electrical problems where we couldn't roll up the windows or scoot the seats, and we froze on our way home during a 45 minute highway drive. After messing with the power box, it worked again, but that was a nightmare for a moment.
I thought the car was still under warranty according to the dealer, but when I got to an Isuzu dealer, they said it expired only days ago!! I hope it doesn't cost too much to fix, if anyone has suggestions, please help me. I am just a poor little girl.
General comments?
I have had a 2000 salvaged Honda Accord (frankenstein) for 3 years that works better than this thing that I've had only a month!
I am sure I will rid of this car very soon and will hopefully get a Chrysler.
