2000 Isuzu Rodeo LS review from North America
"The Isuzu is a pile of trash after you put about 70,000 miles on it"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I bought a 2000 Isuzu, and it ran very, very good, so we decided to get our daughter one also.
After purchasing another one, we then started having all kinds of problems with both of them.
First of all our gas light went on all the time after the gauge went to 1/2 tank. We were told it was the sending unit.
After 70,000 miles on the first one we bought, the transmission blew out all the fluid, and we took it to a transmission place, and they charged $150.00 to repair it. 2 months later it happened again, and we had to have the transmission rebuilt ($2,300.00).
Well not only was that a problem, but the second Rodeo's transmission also went out, and it cost $2,300.00 more dollars. The second Rodeo's transmission went out again, and it was repaired for $500.00 more dollars. It went out the second time, and the transmission person told us it was a very poorly built transmission.
General comments?
Believe me when I say I will never ever consider buying another one, and would advise everyone to stay away from them.
