1997 Isuzu Rodeo S/LS/Preferred Package review from North America
"Fantastic! Wish Isuzu was still building them"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I'm writing this as an add-on to my previous reviews for this truck which titles are similar.
Nothing has gone wrong with the truck since my last posting 2yrs & 41k miles ago - currently has 175,558 miles and counting.
Only thing replaced in the last 2yrs was installation of a new radiator (as preventative maintenance) ; changed rear differential fluid; lubed slip yoke in the driveshaft (30 minutes tops for both projects, $15 in materials) ; changed auto tranny filter, added new fluid.
General comments?
This truck is fantastic - takes a beating and keeps on ticking. Looks excellent, the burgundy paint still shines like new. 10yrs old and running better then most new cars.
Everything all original; very adament with maintenance rituals.
Truck does NOT use any oil; no leaks either; not the fastest thing on the street by any means, but probably the most reliable one to, for sure, get you to your destination... with style, I might add.
