2001 Isuzu Rodeo LS 4WD review from North America
"Great car all around, but do run into some problems, love it!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Electrical harness fried.
Both front bearings had to be replaced. Just your usual wear.
Battery replaced.
Seal gaskets for transmission.
EGR valve.
O2 Sensor
Sensor for transmission, computer.
Black goo coming out from under the door during hot months.
Burns oil.
Now not too sure, but maybe the water pump?
Making a whining sound when first started. While accelerating it whines. Not during turns. Not the rear end or transmission.
Any suggestions?
General comments?
Love the car. Rides real nice. Bought this over the Nissan Extera.
Not too good on gas mileage.
Seats are very comfortable.
Fits a 6'3 person comfortably.
Plenty of cargo room to fit to full size black Labs.
Great 4WD capabilities.
Great handling in rain and snow if you slow down for control.
Starting to have problems, but will repair to keep it.
