1998 Isuzu Rodeo LS review from North America
"A piece of crap!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Replaced the alternator 4 times.
Replaced the radiator.
Replaced the starter.
Replaced the fan clutch.
Fan clutch tore apart serpentine belt.
Replaced pulley on engine.
General comments?
The 1998 Isuzu Rodeo LS is the worst vehicle I have ever owned.
The alternator has been replaced 4 times, the radiator leaked for approximately 1 year before mechanics said it needed to be replaced, the starter died on it, the fan clutch broke the first week I bought it and tore up the serpentine belt due to a cracked bracket on the engine, and a pulley had to be replaced on the engine as well.
No one seems to know anything about the vehicle, but every time something goes wrong LOL, the vehicle just won't start, so that was 1 plus.
Honestly if there is anyone considering buying an Isuzu Rodeo, I recommend that you research other alternatives unless you want a vehicle that you have to keep working on.
