1999 Isuzu Rodeo review from North America
"I will never buy another Isuzu again"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The Engine was rebuilt in 2006.
The Engine is blown again July 2008.
Air conditioning works poorly.
The ABS light is always on.
The car is almost impossible to shift into gear from park and the Isuzu dealer said "they can't fix it until it breaks down on the road".
Head gasket blew.
Knocking noise from transmission was the only thing that the dealer ever fixed.
The dealer speakers are always going bad.
The 6 CD changer stopped working.
Car burned a quart of oil every 500 miles.
General comments?
My wife loves the look and ride of the 1999 Isuzu. She likes it so much she wants me to keep paying through the nose to keep fixing it.
I could have bought two better cars for what it is going to cost me to keep this car running.
It's still cheaper than getting a new wife.
