2000 Isuzu Rodeo LX review from North America
"Good for us, however know the maintenance history!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
All around good car.
New E.G.R fuel pump and sending unit at 60K (covered under extended warranty).
The real issue is the transmission seal that fails often 3 times. Not a big dollar fix (100), just an mess and inconvenience to expect. The transmission selector also went; I was able to fix that at 100K for about $150. And finally the selector seal went, and that's a pro fix for about $200, that's if the trans pan gasket will ever stop leaking.
So other than the transmission, the SUV was very good for us..
General comments?
From newly weds to a family of 4, it has been dependable. However the issues I had I felt were premature. Recommended if you know that the history is well maintained.
