2001 Isuzu Rodeo LS review from North America
"Money pit"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I bought it at 45K.
Check engine light has been on since I drove away from the dealer.
Has always had trouble starting when it's cold (NOT cold engine... but cold OUTSIDE).
Fuel sending unit had to be replaced at 75K.
Started replaced (had to cut the exhaust to get it out) at 90K.
Replaced at the MOTOR AT 90k.
Wouldn't shift out of park at 95K, had to replace something in there.
Replaced the transmission at 106K.
Has a weird vibration at freeway speeds, can't get it to go away.
The rear windows won't go up or down.
Windshield wipers don't work properly.
Crappy gas mileage... should I go on???
General comments?
This is absolutely the WORST car I have EVER owned. Absolutely TERRIBLE.
NEVER, EVER, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES buy an Isuzu... EVER.
