1995 Isuzu Rodeo LS review from North America
"A Ford Focus could do better!!!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I don't know the names of all the oil leaks this car has had. I bought it new and was told it had a 10 year power train warranty (never have figured out what a power train is since it has never yet covered anything that has been wrong). I am searching for a new SUV now and the dealers tell me that the power train warranty covers oil leaks... so I don't understand why the dealer charged me for oil leaks when the regular warranty was expired, but the power train warranty was still in effect. It has been in the shop several times for all sorts of oil leaks.
General comments?
It also has electrical problems with the power locks and windows, the inside lighting and the dash. Things that are electrical seem to go off and on whenever they like. I did not know that the "drive" lights on the stick shift were even supposed to light up until about one month before the three year warranty was up - that's when it came on for the first time! When fixed, I had to relearn how to turn on all the interior lights again, as they all worked differently when I got the car back.
