1991 Isuzu Stylus review from North America
"More than justifies the price I paid for it"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Replaced front struts.
Replaced battery (having to cope with Canadian climate, I never use a battery longer than three winters)
On my third set of brake pads. Just last week replaced rotors.
Regular maintenance and oil/filter changes.
General comments?
A dependable vehicle. Never yet failed to start, even when I forget to plug in the block heater on minus 30 degree nights.
Firm ride, handles like a sports car, plenty of zip.
For me, the Stylus has been a good investment. Acquired for Can$3800 at an auction in December 1994, I should say that it has been money well spent.
