1990 Isuzu Trooper Big Horn review from UK and Ireland
"Not the fastest of beasts in the world"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I had to replace both front disks in the first month of ownership.
Slight oil leak from around the turbo diaphragm.
Return pipe from auto gearbox fluid split and I lost the lot on my drive. Replaced all 4 tires and that made a big handling difference.
General comments?
My model is a Japanese import known as a Big Horn, plenty of height and luggage space in the rear, does accelerate well for a long wheelbase 4x4 and is very comfortable. Lotus has set up the suspension which makes for good handling. Lotus trim and steering wheel too. Insurance though is a killer and I had to have a Thatch am cat 2 immobilizer fitted before I could get insured.
