What things have gone wrong with the car?
My car radio slowly started to become unreliable with age and the cassette player stopped playing tapes. The Speakers blew as well as deteriorated with age and my tendency to play things loudly. However all are replaced easily with newer speakers and a CD player.
The AC never worked well after I bought it from a previous owner and efforts to fix it were forgotten. This kind of car is meant to be ridden with the windows down.
I did have problems with the brakes, but that turned to be a problem with the service place we were taking the car too.
General comments?
This car is a lot of fun! The Manual transmission is by far the best feature. I learned to drive in this car and experienced many weather conditions and this car made it easy to get through. There are next to no blind spots when driving, you feel like you can see everything around you. It does however stress on highways at high speeds which is why I unfortunately had to sell the car because of my daily work commute. I would gladly buy another one for fun in the future!
