Significant problems - transmission went in less than 500 miles and it took two attempts to fix it.
ower steering pump had to be replaced.
Rear window had to be repaired.
Balls joints needed replacement.
Coolant tank had to be replaced.
Cloth came off A posts.
Had to replace coils and spark plugs.
Rocker cover gaskets had to be replaced.
None of these repairs were covered by recalls and almost all were very expensive. I keep hoping someone will steal it... but even the car thieves know better.
The reliability was supposed to have improved when Ford bought Jaguar... obviously didn't happen.
You bought a 7 year old car with almost 100,000 miles on it. What do you expect? Maybe if you owned it since new it would be in better shape at that age, but you don't know how well it was taken care of or how bad it was abused.
