2002 Jaguar X-Type review from North America
"Pretty, expensive, prestigious TRASH!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
1st transmission replaced at 66,000 miles, no warning, no slippage. Transmission seized in reverse and would not respond. There is a Technical Service Bulletin on this, but they wouldn't acknowledge it at all.
2nd Headlamp washer cover flew off on the highway... LOL.
3rd Rim quality sucks. Doesn't cope well with east coast weather.
Also there is a website that people are getting together for a class action lawsuit regarding the Jaguar transmission on X-types and S-types. If you would please go to this link, list your info and lets try to get some of our hard earned money back.

General comments?
Inside is cheap, minus the leather seats, everything else is garbage.
The navigation screen distorts if the volume is up past mid-way.
The front defrost vents will bend and separate from the dash.
