This car is the best car I have ever owned. It has that zippy Jaguar acceleration and superb handling. I love the transmission's sports mode and I love the 4 wheel drive.
This car draws a lot attention due to it's attractive exterior and the interior is very comfortable with it's leather surfaces and wood. Also to add that Jaguar only uses real wood instead of cheap plastic wood that most car companies uses i.e. Mercedes-Benz.
Jaguar has the free maintenance which is useful since it cost a arm and a leg to change the oil on these things and the service and support is top notch especially when you're a busy person like me.
In my experience, Mercedes uses real wood in most of their cars, and it holds up better than the wood in most Jaguars. I can say this because my family has owned both brands. This is not to say that Jaguars are cheaply built, I regard them as being wonderful. Also, if you think an oil change in an X-Type costs a bundle, try a 1994 XJ6 ;). Happy motoring to all.
The X-type is not a bad buy. It's true that there have been a few problems, especially with the earlier ones. But it's great in the winter, and a nice car overall.
