2000 Jaguar XJ8 Sedan SWB review from North America
"Superb"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Valve cover gaskets are weeping - a common problem.
Shocks were worn out at 110k miles.
General comments?
Glorious luxury sports touring car.
At first, felt bigger than my previous Volvo. Now, with new shocks and sway bar links, it feels just right. Appears to be very well built and reliable.
Great value second hand.
If you can do most of the maintenance yourself, then running costs will be comparable to an ordinary car.
