1997 Jaguar XJR review from North America
"The perfect car!!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The auto-dimming interior rear view mirror has gone cloudy.
General comments?
The XJR is the perfect blend of class and performance, the perfect car.
Very driveable in slow traffic but springs smoothly into action at the touch of the throttle, seemingly endless power.
A used XJR is the best value on the road today, compare it with the E55 Mercedes and M5 BMW, it stands out from the crowd.
Handling; Super smooth and sure footed at high speed, corners like it's on rails.
Performance; 322 hp,398 Ft Lbs of torque, the XJR fears only the most hideously expensive cars offered by other manufacturers.
Comfort; Absolute luxury with conolly hide interior and rich Dark Burlwood together with the Harmon Kardon sound system makes this masterpiece one of the worlds classiest sports sedans.
